Hey,
I’m Andrew Core, a dedicated technology professional with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer
Engineering. With over two years of experience at Oracle as a Cluster Network Engineer, I’ve had the opportunity
to work on cutting-edge AI infrastructure projects that have pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in
high-performance computing. My technical expertise includes working with advanced networking technologies like
NVIDIA devices and Arista switches, where I contributed significantly to the development of Oracle and NVIDIA’s
joint Infiniband cluster network project. I’m also excited to share my involvement in developing proof-of-concept
implementations for innovative network architectures, including the new Multi-Planar Cluster Network. Beyond
traditional engineering, I’ve developed a strong foundation in cloud technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and
have pursued self-study in cybersecurity, even placing among the top 100 competitors in the prestigious US Cyber
Command’s CyberQuest challenge.
In my current role at Oracle, I continue to be at the forefront of AI infrastructure development, leveraging my
expertise in network engineering to help drive innovation in this rapidly evolving field. Whether it’s designing
high-performance clusters or contributing to groundbreaking projects like NVIDIA’s SpectrumX next-gen line of
switches, I’m committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in technology. My passion for both technical
excellence and cybersecurity makes me well-equipped to tackle complex challenges that require a unique blend of
engineering expertise and security awareness.
